WYSIWYG Editing
Moraya’s core experience is inline WYSIWYG rendering, powered by Milkdown v7 (a ProseMirror-based Markdown editor).
How It Works
When you type Markdown syntax, it transforms into rendered output immediately:
- Type
#followed by text — renders as an H1 heading - Type
**text**— renders as bold - Type
*text*— renders as italic - Type
`code`— renders asinline code - Type
-— starts a bullet list - Type
1.— starts an ordered list - Type
>— creates a blockquote - Type
---— inserts a horizontal rule
CommonMark & GFM Support
Moraya supports the full CommonMark specification plus GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) extensions:
- Strikethrough (
~~text~~) - Task lists (
- [x] Done) - Tables (see Tables)
- Autolinks
Code Blocks
Type three backticks (```) followed by a language name to create a fenced code block. The code block will be rendered with syntax highlighting.
Links & Images
Insert a link with Cmd+K. Type standard Markdown link syntax [text](url) or image syntax .
History
Undo with Cmd+Z and redo with Cmd+Shift+Z. The editor maintains a full undo/redo history stack.
